The Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering (BSAAE) degree from the University of Washington prepares students for aerospace engineering careers in industry, government, and research.
Students learn how to design, develop, test and produce aircraft, missiles, spacecraft and satellites. Aerospace engineering technology also has “earthbound” applications such as making race cars and golf balls more aerodynamic. The degree gives students a solid foundation in core engineering fundamentals, laboratory and project experience, and real-world focus on teamwork, problem-solving, leadership and creativity.
